My main responsibility is to build systems that enable collecting, managing and converting raw data into usable information for data consumers such as Data Scientists, Data Analysts and third parties. Data Engineer's role involves also participating in the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and other data integration solutions, which are built to support the current and future needs of the organization. In addition, there are other different important things such as data governance and security that you need to consider in daily work.

I enjoy working here at Topcon as Data Engineer because:

I have a wide range of interests that span across different activities, such as running, going to the gym, playing video games and indoor climbing as a newcomer to the list. I'm also a big fan of pizza and consider myself a coffee addict (I’m also passionate about it).
